Unit 8 - My Project Diary (Week 7 & 8)

In week 7 & 8 was the two weeks where the production phase finally started. In these weeks I had managed to get not only my shooting done but also the production of my film poster and the end result of it completed.

Monday 5th April, 2017

CHANGES MADE IN MY WORK

On this day I came to realization that my concept could possibly change due to me having to find replacements. I came up with a draft update script that I am hoping to pursue to add more content to my work, due to the lack of actors and came up with some new scene ideas that could be potentially made to be placed at the start of the video, yet again just to add more content to my work.

Tuesday 6th April, 2017

CREATING MY FMP film poster and shooting for it / along with getting visuals for my updated script

On this day I carried out the shooting for my film poster in the television studio, trying my best to also got some new visuals for my new updated introduction script. - I decided to do this as I wanted to ensure that I was on track and also because I finalized the changes that would be in my final major project regarding my actors, making it acceptable to start this process.

On this day I also began the editing process of my film poster using the software Adobe Photoshop, as that was the next step after securing my pictures and to be honest I wanted to do it as soon as possible just incase I had managed to prioritize something else and forget to even do this process. - added on that I also wanted to ensure that I did not have any barriers stopping me from finally going on to the important thing of this unit, the actual shooting.

Thursday 8th April, 2017

Shooting day 1 of my FMP

This was the day when I finally decided to film and shoot for my final major project, I chose this day as it correlates with the start day on my project action plan and also so I could get it over and done with, since I had to go through the hard process of finding new actresses/ actors on time, just so I couldn't be behind. I felt that if I could quickly shoot this, since it wouldn't take long anyway, then I could quickly afterwards start the editing process and get the initial feedback from my peers.

Thursday 8th - Friday 9th

After shooting was done was when I went back to college and began re-organising my clips immediately, beginning the editing process and section of my work, since those days was when I had finally finished my other courses such as, maths and english I was able to come in early in the morning and had managed to finish it, once spending numerous hours at college.

Once completed I then had to present it to my other classmates, just to get a feedback response that I could then further on add to my evaluation.....

The post where you will see the final edit of my whole work, followed by the whole editing process and the feedback + evaluation will be posted on June 11th I chose this date merely because that will be the date that symbolizes 2 weeks of work and also because it would allow me to take a short break, so I can collect my thoughts and analyze what people in my class did like about my work and what they didn't and also so I could be given a time to evaluate my work properly.
