Unit 8 - My Project Diary - WEEK 3 & 4

Dear Diary,

Below you will see all the work I have done in the weeks of week 3 and 4 up until the post that I made on the 30th of April (my other project diary) As stated on my project action plan I also completed everything I stated I would do and did a lot of stuff regarding my production work, such as my risk assessment, exploring the different types of lighting I could use when shooting in my desired location, my location report and also estimating the initial price of my props.

On Sunday the 7th of May, 2017

On this day I was mainly focused on making my time mostly spent on doing the other two types of my research, which were my wider and deeper context research which could contribute to my final major project and also looking at and sketching potential designs, whilst gaining feedback on what people think of it.

May 10th - May 13th On these days I was doing work that consisted of locations, collecting sounds, finding out the props and the initial costs, forming my script and also creating my risk assessment.

Wednesday 10th May, 2017

On Wednesday was when I began writing up my location report, including all the important information which describes my location, from the address, to the types of surroundings it has and also the specific points and tasks I want to get done, once at these scene (scene notes)

Thursday 11th May, 2017

Finding out the specific sounds I wanted to have and collecting my foley's I wanted to capture was my main focus today.

Friday 12th May, 2017

This was the day when I decided to create and start forming my script. I felt like this was the best time to do it, If I wanted to be on track with my project action plan and the day after was when I had decided to do my risk assessment, just to prepare myself for the potential hazards that me and actors/actressess could face on that day.
