Unit 8 - My Project Diary (WEEK 1&2)

THE BLOG POSTS BELOW SHOW ALL THE THINGS THAT I HAD SECURED IN THE 1ST AND 2ND WEEK OF THIS PROJECT.

The original start date of this project 17th April

On the 1st and 2nd week of being assigned this project like I stated in my project action plan.

I had decided to focus merely on the research part of my work, as I felt that doing this was the most crucial part of structuring and forming my final major project. To be honest I did start late on this process, the original start date was the 17th of April and I started my work on the 21st, Despite this I had still had managed to do all the things I had stated I would in my Project Action plan time table. Through and between the weeks of 1&2

All I have done now is mostly Secondary and Primary research, leaving only two types of research to be done which is both primary where I will have to sketch out my potential designs for my film poster - gaining feed back from doing so and also having to do wider context research about what my short film is based about which is obsession. - ALL OF THIS WILL BE DONE IN WEEK 3

Friday 21st of April, 2017

This was the day when I began doing the introduction blog post, where I had to structure my own rationale, project action plan, evaluation and also harvard referencing. The original date to the first week was supposed to be for me on the 17th, meaning that due to this I started really late doing this blog post.

Because of this it has taught me to always get things done as quickly as possible because you never know how it can interfere with your other projects. - (I started late as I had to add some final touches to my work on the other unit)

On the 22nd of the April was before I did my research and when I really combined all my ideas together in a mind map and on the 24th was when I began the process of finding out what I wanted my concept to actually be about, and had started to write up my synopsis.

April 24th - 25th, 2017

From theses dates going down until 30th of may was when most of my posts consisted of some research and all my developments of my characters and the planning stage of what my location could be for my final major project.

Tuesday 25th April, 2017 - The day I started my research

On the 25th of April was when I really decided to dabble in research a lot and start to do my secondary research and primary research, as I felt it was the right time to do so, I already found out the whole purpose of my short film. So doing research in order to develop it more was crucial in the whole production process. The two posts after that were actually synced and included a whole character development of what my character would be like and also clips from the auditions I held for people to star in my short film.

Hopefully I can manage to keep on track with all this work, despite having a late start. To handle this well I will try my ever so best to make sure to get everything done, when set. Now all that is left to do is to do all my work needed in Week 3
