Unit 8 - Holding Auditions for my FMP

For my final major project I was very un-certain of who I was going to use to play the role of my characters, including my main character. I was so indecisive and was just confused of who would make good actors/actresses for my final major project, so I had decided to hold auditions with some of the people from the performing arts department, just to ensure that I secure the best people who are experienced in this craft which is acting and performing.

I went to the performing arts class room and stated that I needed people for my short film and luckily a lot of people stated that they wanted to try out for my short film, all that was needed to do after this was to pick a particular day, create a draft script and record each of their auditions.

Below is some of the auditions tapes of people who wanted to try out for the main character.

(people also auditioned for the role to be the friends of the main character, however I did not have enough time to record their auditions)

From the audition tapes I came to an idea of who I want my actors and actresses to be in my short film. I have come to the terms that my main character will be played by Sam and that :

Jessica will be played by Toara - the friend of the main character

John will be played by James - the friend of the main character

Jake will be played by Pedro - the friend of the main character
