Dear diary,
Today we was taught and asked to perform a little task using the software Adobe after effects. On this task we was given instructions again, alike to the other task we had to do which was the making of the flash banner, and were given the opportunity to create our own piece of 3D font that had the ability to spin and rotate basically animate.
Here is a screen shot of the editing process ↓

The instructions we were given on this task.....

Below is a video that I had screen recorded of the process that I did once in my lesson.
(Step-by Step Process)
Doing this task was a lot easier and more manageable than creating the flash banner, in my opinion. The instructions we were given were less complicated and simple, whereas the flash banner instructions were very hard and kind of confusing, since they were so many steps and stages placed on one page. On Adobe after effects if you browse on the settings and headers, it was easy to figure out what does what, once referring back to the page of instructions which made the task straight forward, If we was stuck we was also given help on the areas we was struggling in.
I did face some points where I had to take a break and go over the instructions again and again just to correct some of the effects that were supposed to be placed on top of my text. It did take multiple tries to get the hang out of it which is why in my screen recording you can see some parts where I stop working, that was because I had to refer back to the instructions and look back. Even though the functions were pretty clear it just took some time locating them and making sure they were putting an effect or adjusting to the font correctly, at some parts I even skipped some bits which made me need to pause for a minute and ensure that I didn't miss anything, as it could effect my font overall.
Here is the outcome of the tutorial and what my font look like :
Evaluation :
I really like how the font and the animation turned out, I feel as if this tutorial was very beneficial and helpful as I got the chance to produce and learn new things using the software Adobe after effects, that I could further on contribute to my final major project.
