Dear diary,

Today is shooting day 2 of our short comedy trailer called the Detention. Throughout this whole process recording and shooting me and my partner had encountered a LOT of problems especially with the actress, even today she could not be present to rehearse and perform her line.

In order for us to make our day productive (me & Sherene) we had decided to record some more of the scenes, that would not need an actress/ actor involved. We decided to go up to the television studio and record our time-lapse of the clock. What we did was set up the tripod on a table and angled it (with the camera on of course) so it was facing the clock clearly, we also had to make sure the clock had good lighting, so we added a stage light and placed it so that it would face the clock and brighten it up.

The time-lapse overall took very long to create which was understandable, me and my partner wanted our time-lapse to be precise and very still, which resulted in us staying in the television studio for hours even when we had a break. I believe that doing this was worth-while, as the end result looked quite smooth and focused. There was times where the recording had stopped but I made sure to immediately record it again so that the clips were in-sync once finished.

Here is a video of the set up we had, whilst recording our clock.
