Setting up the animation - Production Phase

The area where the production will take place is in the television studio, as all the equipment needed is all their. Once I have all my equipment I will create a set for my dolls which be made out of paper. I have decided to use paper, merely because when I did my last stop animation, I felt that having a clear canvas made the prop stand out more and made the focal point only on the doll, because my video is going to be a doll advert using a blank piece of paper would be to my advantage as I only want my doll to be the main focus.

To create this set all I will need is Sellotape & Paper which is accessible at the television studio.

Script

No script is required in my stop animation, the only noise present in my advert will be sound effects and possibly a narration borrowed of another advert. The sound effects used will come from the advert I had found inspiration in which is the monster high doll advert. I am also thinking about adding, not just the narration but the music also.

The bit I am thinking about taking from the advert is ''customize, personalize, monsterize you may freaky fabulous, now you can create your monster''

Simply because I feel like it will go along with my animation. Whilst these particular words are narrating my piece, the dolls will be moving in the box (showing how you can customize the doll, personalize it and monsterize it)

The dolls will be interacting with each other (''you may freaky fabulous'')

The dolls one on one posing (''now you can create your monster'')

Target Audience

Most doll adverts have an age limit and it is printed on the box, Most of the boxes have an age limit that says 9+ I have relatives such as cousins and a little sister, and I know that even at the age of 9 little girls or boys still play with dolls, which is why my target audience is 9+
