Shooting day 2 & 3 - Promotional Video

Dear diary,

Today is the day me and my team have decided to start shooting for our promotional video about Brixton. A couple of weeks ago, my team went out and shot some other clips for the promotional video whilst I was sick, apparently it didn't go to well as I was told that there was too many pans and no variety of shots.

So today we have decided to get more shots and recordings. Making this day be shooting day 2.

On this day we focused on getting a lot of visuals altogether, we basically gathered around Brixton market and got some shots of the stands in-which people were selling clothing and some shots of some local business banners. Later on as a group we decided to go to Pop Brixton to shoot some scenes of the food that was being sold there and the variety of things that people can do activity wise.

Throughout this day our main goal was to get as much relevant footage as possible and to perform the shots that were on our shot list. Unfortunately we wasn't able to get enough footage, as our memory card kept on getting full. We had a 2GB memory card in the camera which was quite ridiculous to have as, we were planning to shoot a lot on this day. This frequently happened so we decided to go back to college and begin shooting again tomorrow, as there was no memory cards left for us to use.

October 18th, 2016

Dear diary,

Today is the 3rd day of shooting, Me and team went to brixton yet again to get more shots for our short promotional film about Brixton.

Here is a video of me setting up the equipment and shooting some scenes, unfortunately we received a very stiff tripod but we had managed to make it work.

I feel like today went really well. We had managed to get some really good visuals for our video. As a team we went into tiny groups, Sherene and Chia were in-charge of getting vox-plots and me and Tatum were in-charge of shooting more areas on our location report. Overall shooting went very well and we didn't face any difficulties, we got more than enough clips for our video and was ready to start editing.
