Here is all the primary research that I had done for my promotional video work. When doing this task, I had decided to collect my research through different methods such as interviewing people and surveys.

I used the website survey monkey to conduct a survey and overall I got 7 responses from different types of people. The questions we asked was meant to help see what people find appealing and useful in a promotional videos.
The questions that were asked in the survey were :
How old were you?
Are you male or female?
What area of South London do you live in?
What places do you go to in Central London?
When you have a friend visit (London) where do you take them?
What would you prefer to listen to? ( text, narration etc)
What would you liked this filmed in? (Point of view, Interview style etc)
Would you like to see any visual effects?
What style of film would you like to see?
Here is the feedback that I received from the survey and some screenshots of me creating my survey.
In this survey, we wanted to see more of the technical side in which people liked about promotional videos. To find out what people liked in the way promotional videos are styled and created. I made another study, where I interviewed people in person and gave them another set of questions to answer. This is because, I wanted a wide variety of feedback and opinions.
Here is the feedback I got from the interviews. Most people wanted the promotional video to be creative and for it to standout than the average promotional video. Their was one person who's response caught my attention and it was Andre's, he said that he does not like when well-known historical buildings are present in promotional videos, like the ''Shard and Big ben'' Me and him share the exact same opinion and I was glad that someone had the same view as me.
From the feedback what I learned is that in order to make a successful promotional video, I would need to make my work creative and unique. I would have to add some but not the typical historical buildings. I would also have to add narration and to make sure that my video is no longer than 5 minutes. As the majority of people I had interview said that for a promotional video to be entertaining it would have to have all of these features combined.
