Welcome to blog! (1st ever project) 10 shot types

Week 1

Hi readers, this is my first blog post on my level 3 creative media blog. I am so happy to be on this course and eager to partake in some activities. Induction week has been so interesting! In the first days back at college, we was asked by my teacher Emma to record a video on different types of shots in film & television, such as a canted shot or a close up shot.

In this activity we had to work in teams and I was put in a group of three, with my fellow classmates Angus & Tatum. It was a good experience for me as I got to make friends and work with people I was not familiar with. This helped me developed my team working skills.

My teacher Emma had also showed us a editing software called premiere pro, which

was the software that we had to edit our video on. It was a editing software that was quite difficult to use in my opinion, but now I am very confident with doing the basics on premire pro, such as adding text, effects and muting sound levels on clips.

Due to unfortunate circumstances my final edit has been wiped of my computer. This is because my IMAC was not set to mac it was programmed in a windows format, so the technician had to come and change the format of my computer which wiped the footage of my computer.
